The FIE, through
its President, René Roch, wishes to honour an excellent
theoretician of fencing and of sabre in particular, former
fencer, fantastic 'maître d'armes' and author of a number of
books on fencing, Mr David Tyshler, Russia!
He receives from, René Roch the
gold medal of the FIE in honour of his untiring activity for
our sport in his country and beyond the borders of Russia
